Theresa Tova

Theresa Tova is an actress, singer, and playwright who is most noted for her play Still the Night, which won several Dora Mavor Moore Awards and was a finalist for the 1999 Governor General’s Literary Award for Drama. Her other plays include Bella: The Colour of Love. The daughter of Polish Jewish survivors of the Holocaust, Tova was born in Paris, France and raised in Calgary. She has performed in theatres across Canada, including the Shaw and Stratford Festivals, as well as on Broadway, and in Europe. Her film and television work includes ENG and Anne with an E. Tova served as the president of ACTRA Toronto and the treasurer of ACTRA National.
