Dying to be Thin is a witty and inspirational look behind locked doors into the secret life of a young teenager battling with the eating disorder Bulimia. Written from the author’s own personal experience, the play unfolds to tell the poignant story of Amanda, as she sets out to have her “Last Ever in Her Whole Life Binge.”

About the Author
Linda Carson, a graduate of Langara’s Studio 58, has acted for theatres across western Canada for the past fifteen years. Linda toured Dying to be Thin, her first one-person play, for two years before handing it over to other actors and going on to co-write her second play, Mom’s the Word, with five other actor/writer/moms.
