The Soft Eclipse

Connie Gault

About the Book

A poignant evocation of a small Saskatchewan town in the 60s, The Soft Eclipse follows six women, aged 16-76, through a day both strangely unique and satisfyingly “everyday” as they anticipate the coming eclipse of the sun.

“This intelligent, compassionate play touches upon an inner life … which must be recognized.”

“A bold and imaginative effort … The Soft Eclipse verges on the profound.”
