About the Authors
Jennifer Brewin has worked as a freelance director and producer. She is the co-artistic director of the Caravan Farm Theatre in British Columbia.
Leah Cherniak is co-artistic director of Theatre Columbus in Toronto. Besides directing and performing for other theatres across Canada, Leah has directed, co-created, and/or performed in over twenty new Canadian plays produced by Theatre Columbus.
Ann-Marie MacDonald is a writer and actor. Her works include the play Goodnight Desdemona (Good Morning Juliet), which won the Governor General’s Award for Drama. Her first novel, Fall on Your Knees, was nominated for and won many awards and was chosen as one of Oprah’s Book Club selections. Her latest book is The Way the Crow Flies.
Alisa Palmer is a director and writer. Currently the artistic director of Nightwood Theatre, she is also a freelance director who works across Canada. Among her works is the Chalmers Award-winning A Play About the Mothers of Plaza de Mayo.
Martha Ross attended the Jacques LeCoq School in Paris and has been acting and writing for Theatre Columbus since she founded it with Leah Cherniak in 1983.
