Debbie Patterson is a Winnipeg playwright, director and actor. She is a recipient of the United Nations Platform for Action Committee’s Activist Award and the City of Winnipeg’s Making a Mark Award for her work as an advocate for disability justice. Debbie recently announced that she will be stepping down as artistic director of groundbreaking Sick + Twisted Theatre after being at the helm for the past eleven years.
